A couple of months ago I started practicing Eka Pada Galavasana aka Flying Pigeon Pose. This video is from the beginning-ish stages of practicing the pose. Learning how my body feels to be in a position for the first time, how to engage the core, how far forward I could lean without a face plant and how to keep practicing and breathing when my body felt challenged.

Today is First Time Friday. Try something new today or this weekend. A new yoga pose, a new type of yoga, a new type of food, start a new book, a new way to drive to work, etc. Change your routine to see how you can flow.
Notice that I am practicing in the kitchen. You can practice yoga anywhere!
