Aside from admiring the beautiful color you get a lot of health benefits from drinking beet juice!  Beet juice improves blood flow, increases exercise stamina and energy, helps lower blood pressure, is high in antioxidants and loaded with vitamins and minerals. Some fave blends are beet, apple and ginger or beet, carrot, apple, ginger and lemon.

*Depending on the size of the chute on your juicer you may need to cut your produce into smaller pieces.

*Alternate leafy pieces and higher water content produce to help push along the stems and leaves so the juicer can maximize the amount of juice that is extracted and so it doesn’t jam up or get stuck.

Beet Juice Recipe:

1 beet (peeled and sliced)

3 carrots (cut in half or quarters)

1 apple (cored and sliced)

1/2 lemon (peeled)

1” thick ginger root

Juice everything in your factories juicer and enjoy!
