RECIPE: Mint Chocolate Chip Protein Smoothie

Happy Monday!

Have a Minty Monday with this delicious and nutritious Minty Green Smoothie.

Kick off the work week with a protein and superfood packed mint chocolate chip smoothie.

Mint Chocolate Chip Protein Smoothie

 

INGREDIENTS

2 cups                 Spinach

1 medium          Banana (Frozen)

½ medium         Avocado

1 scoop               Protein (GardenOfLife Vanilla)

1 scoop               Superfood Powder (Amazing Grass)

½ cup                 Coconut or Almond Milk

1 teaspoon         Vanilla Extract

1 teaspoon         Mint Extract

1 pinch               Himalayan Salt

4 cubes               Ice

1 Tablespoon     Cacao Nibs (Navitas Organics)

 

Optional:

½ scoop             Stevia (Trader Joes)

1 Tablespoon     Honey

 

DIRECTIONS

  1. Put all ingredients in the Blendtec Blender.
  2. Choose either to omit additional sweeteners or add them in now.
  3. Blend on high for 60-90 seconds.
  4. Add Cacao Nibs and press the pulse button 3-5 times to blend them in.
  5. Enjoy!
