It is a privilege to be able to live each day. It’s a privilege to breath each breathe with ease, to walk the earth, to feel and to experience this journey.

I recently strained my neck and shoulder mountain biking 🚴🏻and overdoing exercises and poses.
🤕
Having an injury makes me even more grateful for when I am able to get on the mat and practice.
🗣
This is a great reminder for me to be more mindful of my body, actions and to challenge myself but with care at the same time.
🤸🏻‍♀️
Not being able to practice any form of physical yoga poses for multiple days in a row has made me feel so grateful for what I do have, what my body is capable of and to have even more compassion for those who go through difficult times.

It’s a challenge for me to rest and heal sometimes as my high energy wants to keep me moving and doing at all times.

It is peaceful to be able to calm the body and relax.

As my muscles tighten around my neck, shoulder and back I breathe into the tightness and think of the word relax or release.

Meditation body scans and mentally sending healing thoughts and positive vibes throughout the body have been a part of my yoga practice recently.

This is a reminder to be kind to your body, be grateful for your body and be mindful.

Don’t overdo anything that can cause strain or pain.

Cupping is a technique used in Chinese medicine to loosen tight muscles, adhesions, bring more blood flow and drain out toxins and energy.
