Our thoughts create our reality. So when we stay in the fears and insecurities it prevents us from fully living life.
If you want to change where you point your mind you will have to make changes in your life. Change your habits and behaviors.
If you wake up in the morning dreading all of the things you have to get done that day then right there you are already setting yourself up for a day full of worry, stress, being overwhelmed and living in the future.
Being aware of the present moment and making a gratitude list as soon as you wake up is a great way to create a new habit to rewire your brain to think more positively.
Like anything new there will be thoughts of “Why am I doing this, this is silly, I don’t need to do this,” etc. Think back to when a baby first learns to walk… they stick with it. We were all there, we all practiced, we trained ourselves to walk on our own. It took time, patience and consistency. Same method applies to making changes in your life. If you want the change then do the work which will take time patience and consistency.
Start making changes in your life that create a positive outlook, a positive mindset and a life you are happy and grateful for!
