Sit with the legs extended straight out on the floor. Sit up straight to create length in the spine. Bend the left knee bringing the heel close to the sit bone. Reach and press your left palm behind you, straighten the elbow. Twist your torso to the left and place the right elbow outside of the left knee. The head looks to the left or back over the left shoulder. Keep the left leg straight and flex the toes towards you. Hold for a few breaths, inhale to find length and exhale to find a deeper twist. Repeat on the other side.
