Today is Work It Out Wednesday!

This took me all day to make!  I hope you try the Kundalini Yoga Sequence in the video below.  It’s about 18 minutes long from start to finish.  It’s a balancing the body and spine for intuition kriya.

A kriya in Kundalini yoga is a combination of asana poses, breathe work and chanting or sounds.  Each kriya is specific to a certain manifestation.  This one is for intuition.

Kundalini yoga awakens your consciousness energy, gets rid of the mind-stuff that limits us and gets us in touch with our intuitive mind.  Creating a balance of mind, body and soul.

Kundalini practices start out by singing, “Ong Namo Guru Dev Namo” three times and Sat Nam once.

Ong Namo Guru Dev Namo means, “I bow to the Creative Wisdom, I bow to the Divine Teacher within.”

Sat Nam means truth is my identity.

 

You end the session singing the mantra, “Long Time Sun” and Sat Nam once.

Long Time Sun Mantra:
May the Long Time Sun Shine Upon You,
All Love Surround You,
And the Pure Light Within You,
Guide Your Way On

Sat Nam means truth is my identity.

  1. I like crosssfit workouts but also like to tie in yoga each week because it stretches the body where I would usually feel tightness after a crossfit workout. I’ll give kundalini yoga a try too. Great video!
